Life Changing Treatment for Eating Disorders
How Eating Disorder Solutions Is Different
Whether your eating disorder is newly developed or you've been struggling for years, know that recovery is possible. Our holistic approach can help you restore your physical health, repair your relationship with food, and teach you healthy coping skills for lifelong recovery.
We offer individualized, trauma-informed treatment that focuses on each aspect of your personal healing process. It’s imperative that you feel safe, cared for, and prioritized. Every diagnosis is different, with various co-occurring disorders. No condition is too “basic” and no condition is “too far gone.”
While other eating disorder treatment facilities can feel institutionalized and intimidating, our location radiates healing and tranquility in a comfortable, homelike environment. This is not a locked-down facility. We allow for autonomy within your recovery; you have a voice in your treatment. If something is not working for you, we quickly adapt and change your treatment based on your needs and healing process.
We pride ourselves on ‘staying human’. Although this is a medical center, we stay in tune with your emotions, feelings, and behaviors. Every day, you will be surrounded by people who care and understand the gravity of your condition. We exude compassion, love, and understanding.

You Deserve Recovery
We often hear "I'm not sick enough for treatment" or "it's not that bad." Your eating disorder lies to you - it makes you believe that you’re not sick enough, or you don’t deserve care, treatment, or recovery. If you have an unhealthy relationship with food or your body, you need to get help. Eating disorders are extremely serious and complex psychological conditions. If left untreated, they can get progressively worse and cause social, emotional, and physical harm.
Regardless of how much time has already passed, recovery is always possible and is most definitely within your reach. Our experienced, multidisciplinary team can diagnose and treat your specific condition through various modalities such as behavioral therapy, recovery coach guidance, dietary support, psychiatric care, access to medical nurses and doctors, and more.
"It's so important to reach out for support, especially when it feels hardest to do that. I shed a lot of tears going into treatment and making that decision and putting things in my life on hold, and I would say that it's worth it. You can find people who will help you and make this work. There absolutely is a place that can help you. EDS does a great job at figuring out specifically what you need.” - Tori, EDS Alum

Our Commitment to You
After completing 75 consecutive days of treatment at Eating Disorder Solutions, if you experience a significant setback you can receive an additional 75 consecutive days of treatment at no cost.
Everyone is Welcome
Eating disorders can affect anyone and can cross any demographic, cultural, gender, or financial lines. Eating disorders don’t discriminate - and neither do we. Unfortunately, research shows that the LGBTQ+ community is at a higher risk of developing an eating disorder. This is often associated with past trauma and difficulties in coming out. It’s important for those in the LGBTQ+ community who are struggling with an eating disorder to receive specialized treatment in a supportive community. We’re here to help – contact our team to start your journey to recovery.
Experience Our Healing Environment
The environment you’re in matters; especially when you’re in recovery. The Ranch at Weatherford offers the tranquility of nature in a therapeutic setting designed for healing. Once you visit, you’ll realize the substantial power that your surroundings have on your mental health, well-being, and most importantly, your recovery. A typical day might include:
- – Walking nature trails beside idyllic pastures
- – Practicing yoga in the sunshine
- – Journaling in the privacy of the treehouse
- – Taking time to relax in a rocking chair and reflect on therapy sessions
Not only do we offer the healing power of nature, we maintain small treatment populations with a high staff-to-client ratio. You will receive the dedicated attention and individualized care you deserve, which are often lacking in other facilities.

Common Types of Eating Disorders
Eating disorders cover a broad spectrum of mental and physical health conditions that are typically categorized as follows: Anorexia Nervosa (AN), Bulimia Nervosa (BN), Binge Eating Disorder (BED), Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), and Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorder (OSFED). Many individuals may experience more than one type of eating disorder. Therefore, Eating Disorder Solutions focuses on the individual, not his or her diagnosis, to better understand the underlying cause and best treatment approach for each client.
Anorexia Nervosa (AN)
Anorexia nervosa involves an intense fear of gaining weight and/or distorted body image. Anorexia is associated with restrictive food intake, preoccupation with calories, and compulsive over-exercising.
Bulimia Nervosa (BN)
Bulimia nervosa involves an obsessive fear of gaining weight and distorted body image manifesting as binge eating followed by self-induced vomiting, over-exercising, or fasting. This cycle causes immense guilt and shame.
Binge Eating Disorder (BED)
Binge eating is characterized by eating large amounts of food over short periods of time with a feeling of loss of control. It is not associated with compensatory behaviors like Bulimia Nervosa.
Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID)
ARFID involves restricting food intake based on texture, smell, brand, and past negative experiences causing avoidance of many foods and/or food groups resulting in malnutrition and other health concerns.
Other Specified Feeding and Eating Disorder (OSFED)
OSFED involves disturbed eating habits, a distorted body image, overvaluation of body shape and weight, and an intense fear of gaining weight. OSFED can include orthorexia, excessive/compulsive exercise, body dysmorphic disorder and diabulimia.
Unspecified Feeding or Eating Disorders (UFED)
UFED involves significant distress or impairment in social, occupational, or other important areas of functioning but does not meet the full criteria for any of the disorders in the feeding and eating disorders diagnostic class.
